Some of the links in Shop, and a few across our essays, are affiliate links. Here is what that means, plainly.

When you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same. We don't see what's in your cart — only that the click came from us.

We only link to things we would actually use, wear, cook with, or live with. Commissions never determine what we cover. If a piece earns nothing, it can still earn its place here on taste alone.

If you'd rather not contribute, search for the item directly at the retailer. The recommendation stands either way.
